Pandora!

I listen to my iPod a lot. On my way to work, at work, and on my way back from work. Today, as I was walking to work, it died on me. I though to myself, "Curses, I forgot to charge the battery! Now what am I going to listen to at work?" After an hour of not listening to anything I suddenly remembered hearing about free internet radio. So I googled it and the first result was www.pandora.com. I'd heard mention of this before, so I decided to check it out. It's freaking awesome! It's totally free and you can even use it without registering, though if you don't register, it doesn't save your radio stations.

I picked an artist and it started playing a song from that artist and then went on to play other songs from similar artists. If I found a song I didn't like, then I clicked the thumbs down button and it will never play that song again. This sorta thing is awesome for a person like me who, 99% of the time, listens to his iPod on shuffle. I can pick a certain type of music I want to listen to and it'll give me sufficient variety so I don't get bored. What a great find. I may never listen to my iPod at work again! Though at least it'll still get its use to and from work.
