Home Sweet Home

I just bought a plane ticket to DC for the weekend of November 7th. A friend from high school is coming back from a tour in Afghanistan with the Marines, so I figured I'd come back seeing how I haven't been home since May. Also, I'm going to catch a showing of Cirque du Soleil with my mom. I've been to one showing ever and it was FANTASTIC. It is by far the best performance I've ever seen. I've been to a Barnum and Bailey show before, and it can't even compare. It is amazing what some of those people can do. I am excited. My mom is also taking me to a "Beer and Muscles" restaurant which has a fantastic selection of beer and also has muscles (my favorite shellfish). So, it should be a great trip home. Unfortunately, this probably means I won't be going home for Thanksgiving. So, I'll probably end up picking up a coupel of shifts at the club since they get pretty busy that whole holiday weekend. Ah well.
