Work, work, work

Yesterday, I worked 14 hours. It was rough. It's weird...I didn't really do any "work", but the whole process of staying at my desk till 10PM made me really tired. I surfed the internet a lot and occasionally tested a new build of the program that needed to be fixed that night, but for the most part, I had nothing to do, but I was still exhausted by the end of the night. But, for all that easy work, I get 6 hours of overtime...yay!

One of my coworkers is moving the Fayetville, NC at the end of the month, so we all went out to lunch with him, and after work we went to The Sharp Edge for happy hour drinks. I've been there before, but I didn't know where I was. When I looked up directions to The Sharp Edge, I found out that it's pretty close to where I live. So, that's exciting to know, cause it's an awesome place. Great selection of beer and decent food. It's a shame no one ever seems to go out for drinks during the week.

Man, fantasy football is getting to me. Mostly when I'm losing. For the last two weeks that I've lost, the night of the last game, when I'm not sure of my and my opponent's final score, I keep on dreaming (and waking up) about the outcome. Sometimes one of my players do really well and I win, other times my opponent does really well. It all feels so real, but I eventually figure out that I just dreamed all those things and it really disappoints me. Especially when I wake up the next morning for real and figure out that I did actually lose. It was especially bad last week when I lost by .14 points. That's 2 yards!!!!!!!!!!!!! If ANY of my players had gotten 2 more yards or if my opponent had gotten 2 less yards I would have won. Man, I was pissed!!!! Ugh!

Anyway, this weekend is Halloween and there's a party to attend! I'm trying to decide whether to go for my lame, easy costume or apply myself and go for a better one. We'll see how I feel.
