I hate airports

The following paragraph is a bit ranty.

I left for San Francisco, California on Christmas day. We flew to Dallas, Texas then to Santa Ana, California (it's in Orange County). When we arrived in Santa Ana, we found out that our flight to San Francisco was cancelled due to a maintenance issue. When we went to the American Airlines ticket counter to see what was up, there were only 2 people working when there were a plane full of people who needed assistance. When we finally got our turn, we were told that we couldn't get another flight that night unless we wanted to buy tickets on a Southwest flight. We decided to put up in a hotel for the night instead and catch the first flight the next morning. So, they gave us vouchers for 2 hotel rooms, since there were 3 of us. We then went to baggage claim to collect our luggage...oh wait, they were still in DC for some reason and won't be in CA till the next day. So, we went to the hotel and for some reason my dad decided to get ONE room with our FREE TWO ROOM vouchers and get a cot added to the one room. Guess who got to sleep in the cot...Next day, we go to the airport at 6:45, which wasn't so bad cause we were jetlagged and went to bed at 9:00 CA time, and got on the 8:20 flight. We arrive in San Fransisco at 9:30 and find out that our bags aren't gonna get there until 11:15 or so. So we wait and eat and then get our bags and go to the hotel. Last year, our bags were also lost. I've never had this problem with Southwest...stupid American Airlines.

Oh yeah, and my laptop decided that it doesn't want to turn on anymore...hooray.

In other news, my dad got be a beer brewing kit for Christmas, so I am VERY excited about that. Mmmm, brewing my own beer...
