Last Wednesday, I was bored at work with nothing to do because the project I was working on was on a temporary hold until we could redesign it (for the 3rd time). So I decided to look stuff up on Wikipedia. Earlier in the week, I had gotten the Transformers movie and Transformers: The Movie from Netflix. Oh, my childhood...
Man, I love the 80's. I almost cried when Optimus Prime died.
So, I started reading about Transformers on Wikipedia. Thought it wouldn't take very long. Man, was I wrong. I must have opened 30 tabs of Transformers pages. Did you know that the whole Transformer's series (cartoon and comic books) is made specifically to sell toys? They kill off characters who's toys are no longer selling; bring in totally random characters into the cartoon because a new series of toys just came out; have them explain what they can do on the show, so kids will know what they can do and want to go buy them. Popular characters will change the way they look (Bumblebee changes to Gold Bug and then back again! Not to mention in the live action movie where he changed to a new Camero) to sell different toys. They'll make up totally different kinds of transformations, it's crazy! Basically, Hasbro can tell them to do anything at the drop of a hat. So, yeah. I spent the whole day reading about that. It was fascinating.
I locked myself out of my apartment today. As soon as I closed the door to my apartment, I said "Oh, shit!" Usually I pat myself down to make sure I have all the essentials: Wallet, keys, cell, ipod. Not today...so on my way home from work I had to call my landlord and they just sent someone over to unlock it for me. I hope I don't have to do that again. I think I'll make myself a copy and keep it at work just in case.

I don't think you're allowed to make copies of apartment keys are you?
That's crazy about transformers... I wonder how many other shows are like that.
You know power rangers is still on?
